art5 In the world today, there are many undischarged sculptures and artworks. The statue of Zeus at Olympia and the seated statue of Khafre are just two examples of dominant artworks. The statue of Zeus at Olympia was peradventure the most famous statue in the ancient world. The Greek cutter Phidias made it about 435 BC, and dedicated to Zeus, the king of gods. The seated statue of Khafre from the no. dynasty of the Old Kingdom (2520- 492 BC) was created by an unknown artist.
