The attainment of atomic energy has been a long-sought goal of the Muslim Republic of Iran. In recent months, the Iranian government has resumed it uranium enrichment program, oft to the disdain of the United States and its allies. The Iranian nuclear program presents a dangerous threat to international security, and the time has come for the US and the international community to take action to neutralize this threat.
