Hildegard of Bingen The Movie, Hildegard of Bingen, is a filmed version of the life of a eldritch woman who was born and lived during the Middle Ages. Hildegard was born near Worms, Germany, intimately the year 1098 and died in Bingen in 1179. When Hildegard was 8, her parents, who were nobles, brought her to a monastery because she was born the ordinal child. Thirty years later she is named head of that monastery. The film accounts her experiences with those most her and how she lives her life as a successful and humble retainer of God. Hildegards love for books and learning, as well as her experience of medicinal herbs, is sh witness to be very important to her throughout the film. She teaches the sisters what she knows and writes euphony as well. This was very inspiring to me, because even though she rank her dedication for God first she was able to shell it in her interests. She truly lived the word of God. A 16-year-old g irl, Richardis tells Hildegard she wants to join the nuns afterwards she is get laid ridden. Hildegard chooses to welcome her openly even though many of the different monastery members are not very quick of her.
These events set up the rest of the film, which focuses on Hildegards gifts as a writer, mystic, teacher, healer and a powerful woman in her world -- as well as a mortal who must postulate with her humanity.
